3 Months

Now that Aaron is almost 4 months old, here is a tribute to the things that happened in month three.

1. We get to hear giggles. The older he gets, the more laughter we hear throughout the day.

2. Aaron is now super ticklish, but only for a little while before he gets immune to the constant attempts of his parents to make him laugh.

3. Aaron is sleeping between 6-8hrs after we put him down the first time at night. He usually goes down for another two hours after the first wake-up feeding. Usually.

4. Though he is sleeping more, he is getting harder to put to bed. He used to go down and fall asleep right away. Now he wakes himself up by rubbing his eyes and cries for us to pick him up.

5. He has learned how to roll over onto his left side from his back. He can also make it onto his tummy, but usually pins his left arm underneath him and throws a fit when he can't remedy the situation.

6. Because he can roll onto his side, he likes to sleep on his side. This made me paranoid at first because of the "Back to Sleep" info out there on preventing SIDS...but I can't keep him from rolling over, and he has been fine.

7. Aaron "talks" a lot more now too. This involves a lot of vowel sounds of the OOO and AAA variety. I have yet to capture this in video.

8. Diaper changes are much more difficult now that he likes to roll around and kick like a mad man when he gets his diaper taken off.

9. Aaron can now grab onto the toys on his play mat. This also means he tries to put them into his mouth.

10. He has figured out how to get his hands into his mouth. They are always in his mouth. Sometimes he has fingers from both hands in there at the same time. Then he reaches out to grab onto me with those sticky fingers. Yummy.

Those are the top 10 from month 3. We will see what we get to add during month 4!
